Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and uphold IT Modernization Plans.
  • Establish strategies for transitioning from the existing IT architecture to the desired future state.
  • Identify potential challenges, impacts, and risks associated with IT modifications and propose mitigations.
  • Ensure technology implementations align with the overarching enterprise mission.
  • Assess business requirements against prevailing technology trends.
  • Devise strategies to align organizational goals with mission needs.
  • Facilitate strategic dialogues with senior IT leaders and communicate effectively with both IT and non-IT stakeholders.
  • Utilize knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance the delivery experience for both consumers and developers.
  • Conduct comprehensive cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and alternatives evaluations.
  • Act as a technical authority and escalation point for resolving intricate issues related to technical processes, systems, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Articulate architecture decisions and their rationale to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Evaluate new technologies and tools in the data management sector to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Recommend technology adoption and spearhead proof-of-concept initiatives to validate solution viability.
  • Engage with stakeholders across all organizational levels to comprehend business requirements, gather feedback, and provide project updates.
  • Build robust relationships with business partners to promote collaboration and support project objectives.
Qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of experience in a Solutions Architect role or a similar capacity.
  • Proficient in Event Driven Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture, Containerization, Object Oriented Development, CI/CD Automation, Cloud Architecture, and Technical Documentation.
  • Experience in developing enterprise architecture artifacts, including current and target state business process models, data models, and sequence diagrams.
  • Familiarity with ins-pi and its components, such as YouDesign, UPM-x, and Designer.
  • Proven experience collaborating with senior leadership to align technology investments with strategic objectives.
  • Experienced in applying engineering methodologies and principles to conduct extensive enterprise-wide business process evaluations and modernization initiatives.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to analyze complex technical challenges to devise innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Experience supporting the Federal Government is essential.
  • Background in Agile Teams is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Ins-Pi.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Azure Solution Architect certification is preferred.
Clearance Requirement:
  • Active Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, and candidates must reside in the contiguous 48 states.
Salary Range:

$180k - $210k (based on experience)
