Education/Professional Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field. Certification with reputable emergency management or business continuity organizations; preferably Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP). • Minimum of 8-10 years specialized experience in business continuity planning. • Proven experience in implementing Federal Continuity Directive 1 & 2 requirements and Federal Emergency Management Agency guidelines. • Experience presenting information to executive level personnel with limited emergency management knowledge. • Experience in working with large and small groups to build awareness, test plans, and improve organizational readiness. • Expert knowledge and understanding of project management. • Ability to collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to conduct impact analysis, detect threats/hazards, and identify essential functions. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Significant, proven experience as a member of a team and a team leader; positive interpersonal skills and a customer-service orientation, particularly with clients from a wide variety of business cultures.
