The position's duties are expected to include on-site compliance monitoring and audits management. Day-to-day work will include scheduling and attending virtual and in-person meetings to evaluate grantees' compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations as well as compliance with grant requirements. The position will also prepare monitoring reports, provide technical assistance to awardees, develop written materials and participate in compliance reviews. This is a limited-service position that will continue until the later of December 2026, or the date that funding for the position is exhausted. Who May Apply This position, Grants Management Specialist - Limited Service (Job Requisition #49828) , is open to all State employees and external applicants.It is a Limited Service position, which is non-tenured and authorized for a specific period of time. Work is performed primarily in an office setting and in a variety of field situations including large group meetings. Some private means of transportation should be available since occasional travel outside of the worksite will be required. Urgent deadlines can be anticipated. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree or higher in business or public administration AND two (2) years or more at a professional level in accounting, financial auditing work, grants administration, or in a role with responsibility for management of financial affairs, or a governmental accounting system. OR Bachelor's degree with coursework in financial management, grants administration or program evaluation AND three (3) years or more at a professional level in accounting, financial auditing work, grants administration, or in a role with responsibility for management of financial affairs, or a governmental accounting system. OR Two years or more of full-time college coursework OR an associate's degree with coursework in financial management, grants administration or program evaluation AND five (5) years or more at a professional level in accounting, financial auditing work, grants administration, or in a role with responsibility for management of financial affairs, or a governmental accounting system. OR High School diploma or equivalent AND seven (7) years or more at a professional level in accounting, financial auditing work, grants administration, or in a role with responsibility for management of financial affairs, or a governmental accounting system.
