Job Summary:
The Receptionist at Scranton Motors Vernon will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests and employees of the dealership. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for guests and will represent the company in a professional and friendly manner. The Receptionist will also provide administrative support to the dealership's management team.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry with a compensation range of $17 to $18 per hour. The salary will be paid on a weekly basis. Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the dealership, providing excellent customer service and answering any initial inquiries
- Manage incoming phone calls and transfer them to the appropriate department or individual
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Check guests in for appointments and direct them to the appropriate waiting area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain and update customer information in the dealership's database
- Work closely with the sales and service departments to ensure timely and efficient communication with customers
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with office equipment
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
