direction, coordination and evaluation of Surgical Services to include, the Operating Room, Sterile Processing, Surgery Scheduling, and Radiology. Salary Range $165,000.00 to $190,000.00 (Depending on Experience)

Required Skills: Minimum Education and Experience Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Five (5) years of experience in surgical nursing. Two (2) years of nursing management experience preferred. Required Licenses/Certifications Current California Registered Nursing License. ACLS and BLS Certified. CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification preferred. Required Skills Must be familiar with healthcare industry concepts, practices, and procedures. Ability to maintain collaborative working relationships to ensure a positive and productive work environment. Ability to plan and prioritize work with frequent interruptions. Ability to provide exceptional customer service. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge and proficiency of hospital information technology applications. Must be familiar to with CMS, CDPH and Joint Commission Guidelines Essential Functions Assumes 24 hour responsibility for administrative and operational function of the Operating Room, Sterile Processing, Surgery Scheduling, Radiology. Assumes 24- hour responsibility for administrative and operational functions of the Surgical Services areas. Assists surgeons in operations through provision of qualified staff; formulates schedule which provides staff available for all procedures. Consults with Chief Nurse Officer on nursing concerns and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Defines and ensures compliance with standards of patient care and nursing practice Plans and organizes departmental activities to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with instruction of surgeons, anesthesiologists and hospital administrative procedures Responsible for management of block schedule. Other duties as assigned. Fresno Surgical Hospitalcomplies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
