ABOUT THE JOB:

Seeking an experienced travel industry professional that is passionate and dedicated, to serve as Executive Director over Events Development. You will be responsible for overseeing the Events Team, utilizing a proprietary event planning software to create and maintain detailed event schedules to ensure events and programs are executed successfully. You will closely collaborate with outside suppliers/vendors and in-house teams to handle everything from event space acquisition to full travel planning and all program details in between. This is in conjunction with providing full-cycle customer service to event participants. We are looking for those that thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, also keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience in event planning/development, hospitality industry, travel planning, etc.

  • Must have strong customer service skills and professional communication with internal and external customers, vendors/suppliers.
  • Attention to detail is crucial
  • Experience with event planning software
  • Experience with customer service management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Must be proficient in technical/organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening skills.
