Minimum Education:
- Technical Degree/Certificate Program.
Work Experience:
- No minimum requirement, but preference for candidates with stable employment history.
Job Duties:
- Answer and redirect phone calls to the appropriate staff.
- Handle Consumer Frauds calls, directing them to the proper agency, or providing complaint forms/brochures.
- Provide customer service to patrons, attending to window inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate agency or assisting with complaint forms/brochures.
- Return calls from voicemail.
- Assist Assistant Attorneys General (AAGs) and staff with tasks such as typing, copying, scanning, etc.
- File documents at the Clerk's office and/or Court.
- Check in deliveries.
- Open/close files for State Counsel AAG & Charities AAG.
- File closed cases for State Counsel AAG & Charities AAG.
- Sort and distribute mail for OAG and Medicaid staff.
- Manage the video room key.
- Assist with sign out of conference room calendars.
- Log in/out pleadings being served - mail to Bureau in Charge if needed (mail, scan, log as needed).
- Receive DOCCS's Memos and save them to DOCCS's drive folder.
- Assist LDDS staff with documents.
- File/interfile archived documents for staff using PAM.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, as the role involves public-facing responsibilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and other basic office software.
Misc. Information:
- Shift Timing: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with two 15-minute breaks and a 1-hour lunch.
- Work Schedule: On-site with the possibility of a small amount of remote work.
- Paid parking available at $90 per month.
- Public Transportation: Regional Transit Bus Routes.
- Interview will take place In-person.
- Training will be provided.
