How you'll spend your days:
  • Developing high-impact content that explains current and evolving issues in the housing market, such as inventory, affordability, mortgage rates, and economic trends.
  • Creating engaging copy for various platforms, including articles, infographics, eGuides, video scripts, and social media posts that are easy-to-understand and resonate with a broad audience.
  • Producing video content in partnership with our production team to educate and inform real estate agents on housing market insights.
  • Researching the latest housing market and economic trends to stay relevant and informed.
  • Collaborating closely with researchers, designers, marketers, and other KCM teams to produce cohesive and impactful messages.
  • Staying up to date with written and visual content development trends and integrating new tools or methodologies to enhance the content creation process.
Requirements

For success in this role, you'll need:
  • 5+ years of professional writing experience and a proven track record of creating compelling written and visual content, whether in journalism, content marketing, or through educational curriculums.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a strong attention to grammar and detail.
  • A talent for creating articles and videos that are conversational in nature and backed by data and research.
  • A natural intuition for compelling storytelling where you translate data-driven insights into simple and effective stories.
  • Experience using AI (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) to maximize your impact, output, and efficiency
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills to manage multiple content deliverables and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
  • An ability to embrace and implement feedback as a part of a collaborative content development process.
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience optimizing content for SEO to increase target audience visibility and reach
  • Ability to design and create visual assets for social media
  • Knowledge of agent and consumer needs in the residential housing market and its primary drivers
