The Accounting Manager has overall responsibility for General Accounting, Accounts Payable (AP) and employee expense reimbursement activities. This position supervises the Staff Accountant and the Accounts Payable Specialist positions. This position prepares financial statements, provides financial analysis, is responsible for forecasting and target setting and develops and maintains efficient and compliant financial processes. Accountabilities: Monthly financial reporting and analysis Month-end close processes Income and other taxes Developing and maintaining efficient and compliant financial processes Assuring compliance to Generally Accepted Accounting Practices and internal policies and procedures External audit obligations Fixed assets Accounts Payable Balance Sheet reconciliations Cash disbursements (suppliers and employees) Payroll accounting Financial forecasting and target setting – revenue, expense, cash flow Required Skills and Competencies: BS or BA degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance required (Master’s degree preferred) CPA required (additional certification, e.g. CMA, a plus) A minimum of 7 years of finance and management experience Strong expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Practices Strong technical skills including financial system, ERP and Excel Experience in supporting external financial audits Knowledge of income tax filing requirements Ability to communicate effectively with business management, partner representatives, various external parties and all levels of the organization The estimated annual base salary for this position is $115,000 to $120,000. Please note that this range does not include any other compensation or benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, level of education attained, and/or professional certifications, years of relevant experience, special skills, etc.
