Job Description

NSF is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner with responsibility to partner with business leaders and team members for the North America and global labs. As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will support the implementation of the HR strategy and goals with the business leaders and team members in the defined area of responsibility and partnering with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and with the Global HR Communities of Expertise (COEs). This role supports global NSF and/or division strategy through the implementation of the operational and strategic elements of the HR strategy and goals to ensure effective utilization of human resources.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with others on the HRBP and Global COE teams to share best practices and to continuously improve HR areas of focus
  • Drives accomplishment of business and HR strategy and goals through strategic partnerships with the business leaders and teams in the areas of responsibility (likely global or complex regional)
  • Provides input to and implements the Global HR Strategy and related goals in alignment with business strategy for the assigned area of responsibility within the HR Key Focus Areas
  • The HR Key Focus areas and elements are:
  • Talent Alignment - Right people, right place, focused on the right things: performance management, results-based rewards, talent acquisition, organization planning, employee relations
  • Talent Development - Pipeline of talent to execute our plans and grow; talent development, talent review and succession planning and leadership training and coaching
  • Talent Support - Applicable global and local talent tools and processes: talent information and reporting, talent mobility, benefits, policies and compliance and supports due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisition.
  • HR Data and analysis - Use of workforce data to help drive business decisions across key HR processes - hiring, retention, promotion, compensation planning, engagement, etc.
  • DEI - Support HR Director developing and implementing DEI strategy and programs initiatives
  • Leads change communications
  • Works with HR COE teams to develop, implement and continuously improve processes, tools and systems

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years HR experience including working as an HRBP, generalist or specialist
  • Comfortable working with data and leading with data driven recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and facilitate HR and talent alignment initiatives
  • Use of performance-based metrics
  • Experience with HR database or system
  • Experience supporting change management initiatives
  • Experience with process and continuous improvement including LEAN initiatives a plus
  • Strategic coaching and influencing skills
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Excellent Relationship Management
  • Ability to be agile
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up/task completion skills
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written including some presentation skills
  • High energy and self-motivated; demonstrated action orientation
  • Strong/Advanced Microsoft Office skills - excel
