Job Summary:

The Vice President of Human Resources will provide strategic leadership for all HR functions, including employee engagement, benefits, compensation, and talent management. This role will analyze current processes and develop innovative solutions to enhance and modernize HR programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent Pinkerton's core values and maintain a global HR strategy that aligns with country norms and employment law regulations.
  • Lead and manage global human resources projects and initiatives, including research and analysis of workforce data to identify trends and recommend solutions.
  • Research and recommend software improvements and implementations to modernize current HR processes.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to stakeholders through value-added services, advice, and counsel.
  • Advise employees and management on global human resources policies, programs, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement global employee engagement and retention programs, including research and development of programs aimed at embedded personnel.
  • Manage the research, development, and implementation of new hire onboarding, employee outreach, and rewards programs.
  • Participate in corporate DEI programs and develop HR roundtables and/or on-going educational series with regional HR Directors and Managers.
  • Research, recommend, and develop new country benefit, policy, and compensation standards and coordinate implementation with local HR teams.
  • Partner with Global Talent Acquisition regarding the implementation of policies and programs within new hire workflows.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) with fifteen or more years of broad human resources management experience, including a global reach.
  • Knowledge of global human resources best practices and standards.
  • Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Self-starter and results-driven, with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities within a fast-paced corporate setting.
  • Serve as a positive and inspiring team leader, with innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to maintain professional composure when dealing with emotional or confrontational circumstances.
  • Active listener with the ability to lead and influence decision makers.
  • Able to build trusting and collaborative cross-functional relationships.
  • Computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and HR software platforms.
Working Conditions:

This role requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions, with occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment. Regular computer usage and frequent sitting are also required. Travel may be necessary.
