Compensation and Schedule for the Refund Specialist

Refund Specialist Full-time, work-from-home, $20-$23 per hour, Monday Friday, flexible schedule with start time between 6:00am and 8:30am after training. Monthly bonuses from $100-$250, and end of the year bonus up to $600

Required Qualifications of the Refund Specialist

2+ years of recent hospital billing/collections and auditing experience required

Microsoft Excel skills highly preferred

High school diploma or GED required

Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities of the Refund Specialist

Review insurance and self-pay accounts on a set of CPT codes and prepare refund or ask for recoupment.
