The Senior Manager of Marketing Operations, Strategic Planning and Execution is responsible for leading marketing’s strategic planning, governance, documenting interaction models and overall developing the processes and platforms to allow core marketing functions to focus on delivering value. This role is responsible for ensuring the department is focused on the higher value opportunities, and supporting large corporate initiatives with the right resources from marketing.

What you will do – Essential Responsibilities

Lead yearly and quarterly marketing planning, as well guide Marketing’s role and contributions to Corporate Strategic Plan.

Lead and facilitate prioritization exercises for programs, channels, specialty teams and Centers of Excellence to maximize value creation, anchored in the department’s strategic objectives and capacity to deliver.

Create and document operations best practices policies and procedures for Marketing.

Maintain proactive communications regarding marketing priorities, performance and risks to deliver expected results with Marketing leadership and key stakeholders.

Support leadership of large-scale cross-functional project teams that include strategy, creative, analysts and production through all phases of the project.

Develop and track productivity measurements including output, cycle time, quality, and resource allocation, within our Workflow tools.

Lead agenda and backlog for Marketing Operations Center of Excellence, and serve as the department authority on OKR and Agile best practices.

Manage, lead and develop a team of associates through timely performance feedback delivered during day-to-day observations, file reviews and an annual performance review. Responsible for creating individual development plans and business objectives designed to enhance and assist associate growth.

Qualifications and Requirements

Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner while balancing time, multi-tasking and interruptions

Ability to develop and execute a plan with minimal direction.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within immediate area of business, and when necessary, identifies resources in other areas of the business that can be utilized.

Ability to provide “win-win” solutions while resolving customer service issues in a positive and professional manner.

Seven or more years of experience in Program Management, Project Management or Traffic Management in a creative environment.

One or more years of experience working in an Agile Marketing environment.

Certified Scrum Master, Master Certificate in Project Management and/or PMP Certification preferred.

Experience working with marketing workflow systems (i.e. Aprimo, Workfront, Davinci, Infor, etc).

Four-year undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field, MBA preferred.
