Ensure all vendor services are delivered to the highest standards and within budget. Oversee the procurement of event materials, ensuring timely delivery and quality control. Develop and implement standard operating procedures for event management, ensuring consistency and efficiency. Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements. Evaluate event outcomes, gather client feedback, and implement improvements for future events. Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and within approved limits. Generate detailed financial reports for each event, including revenue, costs, and profitability analysis. Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement through strategic planning and negotiation. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Four-year college degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field (or the equivalent). Minimum five years’ experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area, ideally in a luxury hotel or resort setting. Proven track record of successfully planning and executing high-profile events. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach. Proficiency in event management software (i.e., Delphi/Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
