We are seeking a highly qualified and accomplished professional to join our team as Manager, Cost Optimization. In this dynamic and high visibility role, you will report to the Director, Cost Optimization and play a key part in shaping the financial landscape of our global organization. As Manager, Cost Optimization, you will lead the charge in driving cost optimization initiatives, provide thoughtful analysis and business guidance, provide critical support to senior leadership, and collaborate across all function of the company to instill a culture of cost-consciousness and continuous improvement. A successful candidate should be able to challenge and yet effectively partner with key stakeholders, provide solutions and be able to pivot quickly. You Will: · Partner closely with business partners to understand key cost drivers, providing tactical direction in the development and implementation of cost improvement measures across major operational verticals (e.g., Manufacturing Operations, R&D, G&A, Sales & Service, Vehicle direct cost) · Drive high priority cost optimization activities across all aspects of the business (e.g. sales, delivery, service, marketing, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing and quality) by becoming a trusted resource for financial data, processes, and business operations · Collaborate cross-functionally with business and finance partners to establish cadence, facilitate tracking, analyze and mobilize the cost optimization initiatives · Lead key initiatives from idea stage to execution · Own data analysis and provide insightful business intelligence for the Cost Optimization portfolio · Assist with developing a comprehensive cost optimization roadmap and own the consolidation/analysis/reporting on program progress · Develop materials and reports for Executive Leadership, including Board of Directors and Board Committees You Bring: · 5+ years business development, corporate development, program management or management consulting experience · Bachelor’s degree in management, business, engineering or other relevant fields · Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast paced and dynamic environment · Advanced knowledge & proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (E.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot, Macros) · Aptitude for driving projects to completion with minimal guidance while still operating in a team environment · Deep understanding of financial and operational metrics across all aspects of the P&L from revenue down to cash flow · Proven technical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills, with a high level of independent judgment and creativity · Excellent critical thinking, research, and analytical capabilities · Excellent business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills · Experience reporting to the C-suite with excellent executive communication and presence · Passion for transforming the automotive and mobility industry Advantageous: · Prior experience in automotive, mobility, and relevant adjacent sectors At Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it Lucid Motors is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
