Position Overview:

Atlantic Group is looking for a dedicated Cost Estimation Specialist to enhance our team. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of expertise in cost estimation for high-rise renovation and restoration initiatives. This role is office-based and presents significant opportunities for professional growth, with direct oversight from the company’s leadership.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed cost projections for high-rise renovation and restoration initiatives primarily situated in urban environments.
  • Examine and interpret project specifications, architectural drawings, and other relevant documents to accurately determine project expenses.
  • Work collaboratively with project leaders, architects, and engineers to collect essential data for precise cost assessments.
  • Identify potential risks associated with projects and propose strategies for effective risk management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and construction techniques to ensure competitive and precise estimates.
  • Assist in the formulation of bid proposals and presentations for potential clients.
  • Track project expenditures and provide continuous support to project teams to maintain budget compliance.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in cost estimation for high-rise renovation and restoration projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and mathematical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
