Creation Technologies is a contract electronics manufacturer. Our business spans four countries with many hundreds of customers. We are seeking a talented and driven professional to join our Product Cost Engineering team. The Quote Coordinator is responsible for coordinating customer requests and assembling material, labor, and equipment costs to generate estimates for customers. This position includes collaborating with multiple departments, including Sales, Program management, Engineering, Purchasing, and Finance.Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal customers and stakeholders to define the scope of each quote including regulatory and testing requirements, assembly drawings, BOMs, and approved manufacturer information.
  • Assemble quotes that include complete BOMs, setup, assembly, and testing operations, material costs, labor times, and NRE/tooling costs.
  • Prepare documentation that identifies each cost element, indicating sources of data, assumptions used, and notes to the customer.
  • Utilize ERP and quote management systems to access and update information such as quotes, tasks, part data, labor history, purchasing orders, and vendor contacts.
  • Ensure all expected costs have been clearly defined for interdepartmental quote review and approval.
  • Facilitate clear communication with the larger quoting team to meet deadlines, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned (candidate dependent) such as supplier negotiation, commodity analysis and training support.
Qualifications & Skills

Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in the wire and cable assembly manufacturing, quoting, or similar.
  • Strong research capabilities given vague or incomplete specifications.
  • Excellent task management, and organization skills.
  • Customer service driven with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effectively prioritize multiple, fluid deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Moderate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
Assets
  • Experience with material costing tools, such as QuoteWin.
  • Experience in material procurement, sourcing, cost estimating, or a relevant mix of experience and post-secondary education.
  • Familiarity with database applications (i.e., Epicor, Salesforce).
  • Expertise in advanced Excel functions (i.e., array functions) and VBA programming.


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $64k-$85k per year. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift.
