The ideal candidate will have a CPA certification and a minimum of 4 years of experience, preferably with a background in public accounting firms. Experience with companies undergoing initial public offerings (IPOs) and expansion to multiple locations would be highly advantageous. Responsibilities: Oversee the company's general ledger and month-end close process. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and other required disclosures. Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and accounts. Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for process improvements. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Mentor and train junior accounting staff as needed. Qualifications: CPA certification is required . Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required . Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm. Experience with SEC reporting and SOX compliance preferred. Strong understanding of US GAAP. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Oracle or SAP is a plus. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement. Onsite for training and then flexible/hybrid.
