Join our team at EMR as a Commercial Administrator Team Leader for WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and play a pivotal role in optimising our procurement processes and ensuring regulatory compliance. What You Will Be Doing: As the Commercial Administrator Team Leader for WEEE, you will administer and analyse data related to the purchasing and recycling of WEEE materials. Your role will involve managing a small team and be crucial in streamlining processes, reducing environmental impact, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Reporting and Data Analysis: Organise and maintain data related to WEEE procurement and commercial operations. Generate month-end, quarterly, and yearly reports. Analyse reports and provide insights to management. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and efficiency improvements. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of WEEE commercial activities. Invoice Processing and Validation: Review and validate customer invoices for accuracy and completeness. Ensure proper coding and categorisation of invoices, matching them with goods receipts. Resolve discrepancies or issues related to invoices, liaising with internal departments and customers as necessary. Payment Processing: Coordinate payment schedules, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments to customers. Account Maintenance: Manage prices on customer accounts and ensure tickets are priced correctly. Keep account contacts, addresses, and banking information up to date via the Data Manager. Set up new accounts when necessary. Supplier and Internal Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Address inquiries and resolve payment-related matters promptly, maintaining clear and professional communication. About You: Attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong organisational skills, ability to multitask, and work effectively under deadlines. Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting data and generating meaningful insights. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience in dealing with customers, with the ability to act professionally. Ability to work as part of a team and independently using your initiative. Good listening, written, and verbal communication skills. Responsive and resilient to a fast-moving client portfolio. Desire to grow and develop responsibility within the team. Knowledge of metal recycling industry practices and the demands of regulatory compliance (preferred, but not essential).
