Role Summary:

The HVAC Installation Specialist is accountable for the proficient installation of commercial HVAC systems and related components. This role involves supervising installation assistants to guarantee high-quality workmanship and engaging with clients to address inquiries and resolve issues, ensuring their complete satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently install HVAC systems and components with minimal oversight.
  • Execute the installation of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems according to company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Design and construct ductwork and fittings as necessary.
  • Conduct system start-ups for heating and cooling units.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
  • Promote company products and services during customer interactions.
  • Manage the transportation of equipment required for installation tasks.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and accountability of company tools and vehicles.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and promptly.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the installation vehicle.
  • Follow established procedures for inventory management and vehicle stocking.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of valid licenses or certifications as mandated by local regulations.
  • Required EPA and safety certifications.
  • Understanding of commercial HVAC system operations and related accessories.
  • Proven experience in installing commercial HVAC systems without supervision.
  • Familiarity with ductwork layout and installation standards.
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to operate necessary tools and equipment.
  • Basic proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as required.
  • Physical capability to navigate various environments and lift heavy equipment.
