The ideal candidate will have experience with PLS CADD software, and have 6+ years of engineering experience. PE is required or able to obtain licensure within 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the engineering and design of high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
  • Prepare construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation and assembly drawings.
  • Serve as a senior technical expert, overseeing the entire lifecycle of transmission line projects.
  • Conducting detailed analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
  • Provide field support during construction.
  • Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates work requiring judgement in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
  • Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices, but may involve a variety of complex features.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of engineering experience within transmission, midstream, or utility design.
  • Strong knowledge of PLS CADD Suite.
  • PE license or willing to obtain within 6 months.
