POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State is on the lookout for undergraduate seniors who are keen on engaging in research and evaluation within the field of mechanical power transmission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting fatigue assessments
  • Analyzing and interpreting data results

Selected candidates will gain practical experience that enhances their competitiveness in the job market.

This opportunity is supported by a grant from John Deere, and there may be potential for employment with John Deere following graduation.

The chosen candidate will be expected to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic semesters and 40 hours per week during the summer months.

Applicants may be subject to a government security clearance process. U.S. citizenship is required for application. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will necessitate successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
