Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering

Are you passionate about working with machines and electronics? Do you enjoy hands-on work and have a strong foundation in mathematics, computer science, and physics? We're looking for a talented individual to join our team at Sapphire Innovations as an electronics technician for industrial engineering.


As an apprentice, you'll gain practical experience at our transmission system operator for Northern and Eastern Germany. You'll learn and contribute to various projects, including maintenance processes, plan implementation, and technology commissioning.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply theoretical knowledge in areas related to the energy transition and power supply for 18 million people.
  • Work on projects, such as developing and implementing maintenance processes.
  • Implement plans with high quality standards.
  • Conduct function tests and commission technology.
  • Complete tasks efficiently and with high quality.
  • Identify causes of technical malfunctions.

Your basic training will be completed at our cooperation partner, Thüringer Energie AG. There, you'll learn about electrical system installation and maintenance, measurement, control, and regulation technology, and understand the functioning of our switching and control systems, substations, and lines.
