As an Accounting Services Lead, while primary day to day duties will be focusing on Accounts Receivable, you will also cross-train in Accounts Payable, Payroll, Data Entry, and more If you have a "get into the trenches" mentality to meet weekly deadlines, we want to hear from you

What You'll Do

+ Provide leadership and support to administrative and operational management

+ Provide in-depth accounting support of all accounting functions including accounts receivable, payroll, accounts payable, customer work management and job costing

+ Ensure accurate recording and recognition of revenue

+ Develop and maintain a strong understanding of current projects

+ Identify and implement process improvements/efficiencies

+ Assist with contract bid preparations

+ Provide weekly and monthly financial reports to leadership

+ Assist in cross-training administrative staff

+ Maintain open communications with customers, vendors, superintendents and other staff

+ Verify internal consistency, completeness, and mathematical accuracy of accounting documents

+ Lead in the compilation of information related to internal and external audit requests and inquires

+ Act as backup to the supervisor when needed

+ Other duties as requested by leadership

What You'll Have

+ 2+ years of accounting experience

+ Strong knowledge of accounting procedures for accounts receivables, accounts payable and payroll

+ Must possess an understanding of general accepted accounting principles and internal controls

+ Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; SAP experience preferred

Work Environment

+ Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
