Focus: Provides essential support to the Lake City HR team ensuring the efficient operation of talent acquisition processes.This role will assist with managing job postings, coordinating interviews and maintaining candidate records (electronic and paper).To be successful is this position you must be able to correctly manage multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Administrative Assistant Essential Job Functions:
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and interview team, including arranging travel if necessary.
  • Maintain candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other HR databases.
  • Assist with onboarding activities for new hires, including preparation of offer letters, scheduling and collecting necessary documentation.
  • Maintain job files in accordance with policy.
  • Perform general office management support.
Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Administrative Assistant Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of related HR experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Applicant Tracking System or HRIS system experience preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Must demonstrate an attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Professional communication skills, highly organized and ability to work independently and in a team environment
Location-Specific Requirements:
  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
  • This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. The US Government does not allow non-US citizens on-site at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant.Therefore, to be considered in the hiring process, the candidate must be a US citizen.
