Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in facilitating the onboarding process for new hires, assisting with continuous development and refinement of the onboarding process, and coordinating logistics for job fairs, career events and other recruitment initiatives. You will also handle day-to-day HR inquiries from employees, partner with the HR Generalist and/or Manager to address performance-related issues, and maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic employee records. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in HR, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
  2. Assist with continuous development and refinement of the onboarding process.
  3. Coordinate logistics for job fairs, career events, and other recruitment initiatives with our Talent Acquisition Manager.
  4. Handle day-to-day HR inquiries from employees regarding policies, procedures, and general HR related matters.
  5. Partner with Human Resources Generalist and/or Manager to address performance-related issues and develop appropriate solutions.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic employee records in our HRIS (Paylocity).
  7. Supervise and administer Employment Training Panel (ETP) contract.
  8. Prepare HR related documents such as offer letters, contracts, and other employment related correspondence.
  9. Support the HR team in conducting audits and maintaining records to meet regulatory requirements.
  10. Provide general administrative support to the HR team and organization, including managing schedules, meetings, special event planning and handling departmental correspondence.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
  3. Proven experience with HRIS, preferably Paylocity.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  6. Knowledge of HR regulations and best practices.
  7. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  10. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
  11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  12. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
