Requirements

Role: Cashier for Ski and Snowboard School

Status: Full Time, Seasonal, Hourly

Reporting To: Manager of Snow Sports

The Snowsports Desk/Cashier ensures an excellent guest experience by helping guests find products according to their needs, gathering Guest Information for lessons, and answering any questions that they might have. Work with staff Manager/supervisors to ensure seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide and welcoming experience for all snow school guests.
  • Maintain a clean guest area.
  • Be knowledge about all Snowsports products and prices and books the guests in advance of their lessons.
  • Responds to all phone and email inquiries. Assist customers in accurately filling out guest forms.
  • Sell Snowsports lesson products, entering purchases into the point of sale
  • Understand products offerings, specials, pricing and pair guests with best product per their request.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
  • Ensures accurate collection of funds and balancing of point-of-sale drawers, including cash, checks and credit cards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the snow sport desk and proper storage of equipment.
  • Advise management on future bookings and peak periods.
  • Assists all customers as necessary.
  • Able to work with the public in a friendly, courteous manner.
  • Able to handle heavy customer demand for extended periods of time, often working through scheduled break times, particularly during weekends and holiday weekdays.
  • May be responsible for opening and closing the Snowsports lesson desk
  • Report immediately any unresolved guest issues to your direct Manager
  • Complete all HR required documentations
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma and or above education
  • Be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Be able to work under stressful and socially demanding conditions
  • Have a 4-wheel drive vehicle or committed to using UTA
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm during busy periods.
  • Proficient with POS systems and Google operating system.
