Freese and Nichols is seeking an Engineering Project Manager with a strong technical background in Water/Wastewater Master Planning and Hydraulic Modeling in the Houston, TX area. The ideal candidate will have experience with hydraulic modeling for municipal water/wastewater systems and GIS. Assist with and develop studies for municipal clients including water and wastewater planning and modeling, asset management, and financial studies (such as water and wastewater impact fee and rate studies) Candidate will engage internal technical experts (master planning, funding, design, treatment, etc.) to support client needs. Use modeling and planning support for water and wastewater utility design projects. Will also include client development, sales/ marketing as well as proposal development.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Minimum Required Licenses/Certifications: Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to become licensed in Texas within 6 months.
  • Minimum Required Experience: 5+ years of modeling and/or master planning experience in the water/wastewater sector
  • Expertise with hydraulic modeling software, such as Autodesk Products (InfoWater Pro, InfoWorks ICM SE, InfoSewer, InfoSWMM, InfoAsset Planner) or Bentley products (SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS)
  • Familiarity with GIS applications in water and wastewater planning
