Responsibilities:

Provide leadership for the strategic development and implementation of the quality and patient safety programs

Plan, organize and direct managerial and operational activities

Provide leadership in the promotion of a Culture of Safety

Utilize performance improvement methodologies, to ensure data integrity, validity, and reliability. Work as a liaison with government agencies to survey readiness processes.

Collaborate with the Medical Staff to promote evidence-based quality and safety

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Health related field and 5+ years of hospital management experience (Allied allied health professionals with over 8 years of experience and required professional credentials will be considered)

Experience in quality/performance improvement, case management and other related areas of responsibility.

Strong background and working knowledge with Performance Improvement including Outcomes and Quality Management

Exposure to Peer Review, Risk Management, Patient Safety, Infection Control Prevention and Reporting is highly desired

Ability to lead and coordinate activities of a diverse group of people.

Ability to work with hospital teams to motivate relevant constituencies to embrace change as required by the hospital's initiatives

At least one of the following certifications is preferred: Registered Nurse (RN), Certified Professional Risk Management Certification (CPRMC) and/or Certified Professional Healthcare Quality Certification (CPHQC) #J-18808-Ljbffr
