We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Improvement Manager to join our team at Santa Clara Family Health Plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of quality improvement and health equity activities, including HEDIS reporting, Medicare Stars Program, and Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS).
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal business units and external partners to drive quality improvement projects and initiatives.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators, metrics, and programs related to quality improvement activities.
- Manage the Quality Improvement and Health Equity programs, including Performance Improvement Projects (PIPs), Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs), and HEDIS reporting.
- Lead and manage a team of staff responsible for quality improvement and health equity activities.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure adherence to contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related field.
- Minimum two years of experience in quality improvement and health equity, including experience running a full cycle of HEDIS.
- Strong understanding of quality improvement methodologies and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings and deliver information to management, regulators, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of ambiguity and in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work in an office environment, with regular contact with co-workers, managers, external partners, and vendors. The position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, with occasional bending and reaching overhead.
