M&C is currently sourcing a Vice President of Multifamily Asset Management to join the group to lead the asset management across a portfolio of stabilized assets and new ground up development deals. Company: The Company is a vertically integrated real estate firm focusing on the investment & development of Multifamily throughout Alabama and the Southeast. The company has a strong track record in the SE and is well positioned to continue growing with discretionary funds raised and plans to raise latest of their main series of funds in the next 3-6 months. Summary: The VP of AM will be responsible for maximizing the financial performance and return on investment for the company's portfolio of real estate investments. This role involves developing and executing business plans for existing investments in the portfolio, leveraging a deep understanding of the vision and strategy behind each asset. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the asset management team, providing guidance and support. Ensure property management teams adhere to operational policies and procedures through coordination and liaison. Consistently represent the company professionally in all interactions. Operational: Enhance operational efficiency by refining and implementing best practices and standard operating procedures. Streamline reporting, dashboards, forecasting, and modeling by automating and leveraging technology and artificial intelligence. Optimize operational performance and improve decision-making by utilizing asset management technologies and data analytics. Present comprehensive analyses of portfolio data, including performance metrics, operating costs, investment returns, and trends, while recommending strategies for operational improvements. Financial Optimization: Maximize return on investment by developing and executing strategic investment plans for the real estate portfolio. Conduct market trend analysis, competitive analysis, and recommend effective pricing and marketing strategies. Prepare detailed annual business plans, including budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses. Monitor and adjust business strategies based on local and regional market conditions, competition, development pipelines, and other economic drivers. Enhance property value through evaluating capital improvement projects and investment opportunities. Ensure renovation costs and budgets align with the pro forma budget, making necessary adjustments. Manage the debt structure and terms of assets, identifying refinancing or additional debt needs. Conduct quarterly and annual portfolio-level and asset-level valuation reviews, implementing corrective actions and updating business plans as required. Lead asset disposition efforts, positioning assets for sale and directing marketing strategies. Risk Management: Implement strategies to manage risks and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Mitigate risks by monitoring insurance coverage, lease agreements, and legal obligations. Maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance through regular property inspections and audits. Support pre-acquisition and pre-development efforts by reviewing financial and operational assumptions and assisting in originating and negotiating debt financing. Participate actively in the investment committee process. Reporting & IR: Serve as the primary liaison to investment partners, overseeing all investor reporting activities. Maintain transparent and regular communication with investors and stakeholders, providing updates on portfolio performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives. Align with investor expectations by establishing clear performance metrics and accountability frameworks. Foster strong investor relationships through educational resources, personalized insights, and proactive engagement. Coordinate with executive management to develop and communicate annual distribution plans. Requirements: Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in real estate, Finance, Accounting or related field. A minimum of 7 years real estate experience with a top tier private equity firm or asset management firm. Possess strong relationship-building/networking skills Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to lead presentations with confidence and skill, anticipating questions and/or objections Must possess excellent analytical aptitude Able to view and critically assess land, buildings, grounds and landscaping Excellent computer skills with the ability to create customized research reports and to integrate data into existing database formats - Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook); as well as strong technical experience with computer modeling #J-18808-Ljbffr
