Location : Santa Clara ,CA / Redmond, WA (Onsite)

Mode: Contract

Type: W2 / C2C

Job Summary: The Windows L2 Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in Windows operating systems and related technologies.

OS- Windows , Linux , Mac .

Hardware knowledge must

Networking skill

Any ticketing tool must be familiar. Jira , ServiceNow … etc

Imaging and reimaging

Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.

This role involves resolving escalated technical issues, implementing system upgrades and patches, and ensuring the smooth operation of Windows-based systems and applications.

Responsibilities: Provide advanced technical support for Windows operating systems, including troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues.

Manage and administer Windows servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks.

Perform system upgrades and patches on Windows servers and workstations.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot performance issues as needed.

Implement and maintain security measures to protect Windows-based systems from vulnerabilities and threats.

Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Windows systems with other technologies and platforms.

Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for reference purposes.

Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system emergencies outside of regular business hours, as needed.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in Windows administration and support.

3+ years of experience in Windows server administration and support.

Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.

Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and task automation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Industry certifications such as MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) or equivalent are a plus.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
