Position Overview: RTH is seeking a dedicated Welcome Desk Receptionist to oversee our front desk operations and uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with a passion for fostering a welcoming environment for all. Reporting to the Member Services Director, the Welcome Desk Receptionist will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth administrative processes and maintaining a positive atmosphere for residents, program participants, staff, and visitors. This is a part time multi shift role, working on-site.

Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Culturally competent; able to work with diverse workforce and resident population comprised of all ethnic backgrounds, ages, abilities, and lifestyles.
  • Strong skills in communication, leadership, judgment, conflict resolution, and creativity
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations.
  • Must have a passion for service insert specific skillset to the improvement of our community.
  • Ability to work with data, detail oriented and has exceptional organizational skills.
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification required or acquired within 30 days of hire.
Administrative:
  • Ensures all programs are safe, properly staffed, and equipped. Assures compliance with state and local regulations as they relate to program areas. Ensures that RTH program standards are met, and safety procedures are followed.
  • Build and maintain a high standard of customer service and serve as a role model for residents, program participants, staff, and volunteers. Contributes to a positive and safe work environment.
  • Attend and participate in staff, board, and community meetings, as directed.
  • Prepares and submits accurate reports as requested in a timely manner.
  • Maintains accurate record keeping, organizes file system and follows up on voicemails, emails and /or faxes within 24-48 business hours of receipt. Responds to all program, parent and community inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as directed/assigned.
Program:
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with the commitments made to funders, partner organizations and the policies, goals, values, and mission of the RTH.
  • Answer Telephone
  • Provide registration information/enrollment into twin oaks system.
  • Monitor PCR Room rentals on day of event. Report any discrepancies to supervisor.
Ideal Candidate
  • Maintains safety as priority and ensures staff, volunteer and participants do the same.
  • Models and teaches RTH core values.
  • Builds relationships and empathetically listens and communicates.
  • Passion to work with residents of all ages and abilities, volunteers, and staff.
  • Flexible work schedule
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • Strong skills in communication, leadership, judgment, conflict resolution, and creativity
  • Working knowledge of RTH policies, and appropriate regulations and operational procedures related to your department.
