You will report to the CEO of Gabriel North America Inc. ***The Job*** As our Warehouse Manager you will have a voice in establishing a highly efficient unit and be a part of our continuous improvement efforts. Your primary responsibilities and tasks will be to set up and organize the new warehouse and work closely together with your team to make sure we meet department and company goals. You will also be working closely with our Sales Supporters in the US, and you will have access to our Groups logistics and transportation resources in Denmark. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan work, direct employees and gather resources to meet inbound and outbound shipping needs. * Assist in unloading/loading trucks as well as assist in picking and packing operations. * Establish or adjusts work procedures to meet shipping/receiving schedules. * Recommend measures to improve material handling methods, equipment performance, and quality of service. * Maintain time and attendance records. * Coordinate efforts of shipping/receiving/warehouse/container processes to ensure inventory accuracy, and ensure that the needs of vendors, customers and internal departments are met in a timely manner. * Directly supervise and motivate employees in the warehouse, shipping and receiving, and conduct daily pre-shift meetings with personnel. * Interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. * Create, maintain, and update ERP basic data information. ***Skills and Qualifications*** To be successful in the position you must be able to transform ideas into actions, reach our on-time delivery goals and complete your tasks and duties satisfactorily.
