Position Summary:

Total Warehouse Solutions is in search of a skilled and proactive Warehouse Operations Manager. This pivotal role involves overseeing the comprehensive management and efficiency of our logistics facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a proven track record in managing third-party operations in a cost-effective and productive manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the operations of our logistics facility, ensuring seamless office management, warehouse processes, customer engagement, IT systems, quality assurance, and security protocols.
  • Assume full accountability for meeting organizational goals, adhering to established procedures, productivity benchmarks, and financial management, including P&L oversight.
  • Coordinate and supervise the functions of various departments within the organization.
  • Analyze financial reports and data to enhance profitability.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets while controlling inventory levels.
  • Formulate and execute strategies aimed at the financial health of the organization.
  • Enhance processes and policies to align with organizational objectives.
  • Establish and implement departmental and organizational policies to optimize output.
  • Lead recruitment, hiring, and placement efforts to build a team that meets operational requirements.
  • Delegate responsibilities, oversee staff, and assess employee performance through a quality improvement framework.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of departments involved in production, warehousing, pricing, and distribution.
  • Ensure the maintenance of equipment and machinery, implementing operational plans effectively.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience, with a focus on team development and optimal performance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in spreadsheet applications.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software.
  • Basic understanding of Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare management summaries and engage with senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of reporting protocols, recordkeeping, and warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends as required.
  • Ability to maintain focus while standing or sitting for extended periods, with an emphasis on visually assessing product accuracy.
  • Commitment to service-oriented leadership and accountability for service quality.
