Process Engineer

Job Title: Process EngineerJob Description
As a Process Engineer, you will work on the shop floor as part of the tuning team. Your responsibilities will include setting up tools, refilling materials, offloading profiles, performing quality inspections, and offering and implementing process parameter changes. You will study the tuning process and pultrusion tooling configuration. You will also use AutoCAD to draw sketches/drawings, update/read existing drawings, and perform tolerance stack-up analysis. Additionally, you will use SolidWorks to review existing 3D models and may create poka-yoke and tooling designs. You will create and update tool-specific specifications and work with the tooling department, requesting tool modifications, following up on progress, verifying completed work, and taking measurements. You will be involved in drafting new window and door products, specifically fiberglass linears, and participate in new product launches. Approximately 10-20% of your time will involve engineering work, design edits in AutoCAD, and 3D modeling in SolidWorks, followed by documentation and design tasks. You will also handle some document control and collaborate with the marketing team on drawings for the website.

Work Environment
You will be part of the New Product Management team. While primarily office-based, you will be exposed to the manufacturing floor and machinery. You will report directly to the manager and work closely with another two support drafters.
