Equipment Engineer

Participating with the sourcing and procuring of new capital equipment, and will install and qualify new equipment for our backend semiconductor production lines. Will also support sustaining activities for our backend equipment
Job description:
In your new role you will:
- Participate in sourcing, and procuring new capital equipment
- Will perform installation qualification and operational qualification of new capital equipment for the backendsemiconductor production lines
- Managemultiple projects ensuring that they stay on time and within budget
- Workwith Process Engineers and the Maintenance team to create or optimize PMprograms for new equipment and existing equipment
- Work closely with keystakeholders including Facilities, EHS, Industrial Engineering, andOperations to ensure new equipment meets all facility requirements
- Provide updates to key management
- Design tools and developprocedures to reduce manufacturing variability and ease operator processesand training
- Drive improvements to thecapital equipment purchasing and qualification processes
- Assist the MaintenanceSupervisor with complicated equipment down issues
- Support other responsibilitiesthat may be assigned depending on business need

Your Profile:
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor of Science(or equivalent) degree in engineering, such as Mechanical,Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.
- ProjectManagement Certification
- Minimum of 3+ years' experiencein installing and qualifying capital equipment.
- Ideally have knowledge of IQ OQPQ protocols.
- Ideally have knowledge ofsemiconductor backend processes, such as die attach, Test Equipment, Burnin Ovens, Test Handlers, wire bond, package sealing, lead, finish, trimand form, and mechanical assemblies
- Statistical tools, ideallyusing Minitab, to ensure process equivalence of new equipment.
- Experience in leadingcontinuous improvement teams and optimistic in managing and implementingchanges
- Worked with other teams todeliver customer commitments on manufacturing engineering projects andtasks
