Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Oversight: Create and enforce maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal functionality of all machinery and equipment.
  • Leadership: Direct, mentor, and assess a team of maintenance staff, ensuring high standards of performance and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Identify mechanical and electrical problems, supervise repair processes, and implement solutions to minimize operational downtime.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and oversee preventive maintenance initiatives to mitigate equipment failure risks and prolong machinery lifespan.
  • Budget Oversight: Formulate and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective practices and the acquisition of necessary parts and supplies.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance tasks adhere to safety guidelines and company policies, fostering a safety-first culture within the team.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external service providers for specialized repairs, parts sourcing, and equipment installations.
  • Process Improvement: Recognize opportunities for enhancing processes, upgrading equipment, and improving efficiency within maintenance operations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime occurrences. Prepare reports for management review.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with production managers, engineers, and other departments to support production objectives and resolve maintenance-related challenges.
