We are recruiting for a Level 1 IT Support Specialist that will provide front-line support for a variety of IT-related issues, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving problems related to Microsoft Outlook, other Microsoft applications, and printers. This role is crucial in ensuring that our staff can work efficiently and effectively by minimizing downtime and resolving technical issues promptly.

RESPONSIBILITIESOutlook Support:Assist users with Outlook setup, configuration, and troubleshooting email-related issues.Resolve problems related to sending, receiving, and managing emails, calendar events, and contacts.Troubleshoot connectivity issues between Outlook and Exchange/Office 365.Microsoft Applications Support:Provide support for Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Help users with software installations, updates, and configuration.Troubleshoot and resolve application errors and performance issues.Printer Support:Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of printers.Troubleshoot common printer issues including connectivity problems, print quality issues, and paper jams.Coordinate with vendors for advanced printer repairs and maintenance when necessary.General IT Support:Respond to and manage support tickets through the IT helpdesk system.Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of user satisfaction.Document support activities and resolutions in the helpdesk system.Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or specialized teams when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in IT or a related field is preferred.CompTIA A+ certification or similar IT certifications are a plus.Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite.Basic knowledge of printer setup and troubleshooting.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
