Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians with patient assessments and care, gathering and recording data into medical records, and performing various clinical procedures.
- Conduct lab tests, order lab work, and prepare blood samples for analysis.
- Assist with scheduling tests and procedures, and ensure patients are notified with test results in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Perform front office duties, including answering phones, responding to voicemails, and managing prescription requests.
- Assist with ordering and stocking supplies, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Current BLS certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Preferred Licensure or certifications
- Preferred Educational Requirements
- Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
- Weight Lifted: Up to 50 lbs, Occasionally 0-30% of time
- Weight Carried: Up to 20 lbs, Occasionally 0-30% of time
