Gain insight into how AdaptHealth is reimbursed. Will learn the contracting lifecycle. Develop an understanding of the coordination across lanes that is critical to a successful contracting strategy. Partner with Revenue Cycle Management to resolve payer issues. Lead a project with the Contract Operations team to optimize processes. Develop a deeper understanding of claims data and the relationship to paper contracts. Learn different reimbursement methodologies across lines of business and products. Develop a deeper understanding of HCPCs and modifiers. Understand market dynamics and consolidation impact on pricing strategies. Build knowledge base on price elasticity and commoditized products.

Value Based Care

Will gain exposure to assignments including value-based care program design, project management, clinical and non-clinical data analysis, and partner diligence. Possible responsibilities could include:

Developing data-driven organizational benchmarks by collecting, analyzing, and managing data to track quality and outcomes. Evaluating quality, outcomes, and cost metrics and benchmarks for managing our programs. Partnering with payor strategy in support of innovative contracting for VBC. Coordinating with cross-functional business team members including Operations, Sales, and Finance. Evaluating potential partners (digital health, RPM, care management). Role will focus on developing skills including:

Project management Process development and design. Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Corporate Finance

Support enterprise budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide analytics and decision support to business operators to enable revenue growth and/or margin expansion. Build payor pricing models in support of fee-for-service and capitated RFPs and ongoing negotiations. Review internal and external data to identify opportunities for payor rate expansion. Analyze commercial intelligence information across the healthcare ecosystem (Health Systems, Physicians, Payors, etc.) in support of critical strategic initiatives. Analyze supplier and product cost information to identify opportunities for margin expansion and operational enhancements.

Requirements Experience Required: 2-4 years of professional experience. Solid track record of academic and extracurricular success. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Can communicate effectively both in written and oral form. An individual who is driven and can follow tasks in an efficient manner. Looking for individuals who have a solid base knowledge of Finance principles and can apply it to real-world use.
