POSITION PURPOSE

EOTECH is seeking a detail-oriented and experience IT Business Analyst to join our IT team. The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for evaluating and ensuring compliance with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements. This role involves conducting assessments, managing remediation efforts, and working closely with various departments to maintain and improve our cybersecurity posture.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Perform comprehensive assessments of the organizations cybersecurity practices against CMMC requirements. Identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Develop, review, and maintain documentation related to CMMC compliance, including policies, procedures, and evidence of controls.
  • Work with internal teams to develop and implement remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities and compliance gaps.
  • Prepare for and support internal and external audits related to CMMC and other cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Provide training and support to staff on CMMC requirements and best practices for maintaining compliance.
  • Monitor changes in CMMC requirements and cybersecurity trends, and update policies and practices as needed.
  • Prepare and present reports on compliance status, risk assessments, and remediation efforts to management and stakeholders.
  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
  • Organize and maintain IT resources.
  • Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management.
  • Learn support system and how to work with IT related ticket system.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • US Citizenship is Required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:
  • Associates degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISA, CISSP) are a plus.
  • Minimum of [3] year of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on compliance and risk management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of CMMC requirements, NIST standards, and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and technologies, and experience with compliance management systems.
  • Experience with CMMC assessments and certification processes.
  • Knowledge of federal regulations and standards related to cybersecurity, such as DFARS or FISMA.
  • Prior experience working in a defense contractor environment or similar regulated industry.
