Key Responsbilities:
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports. This includes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as investor reports
    • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and accounting standards across Canada, US, and Latin America
    • Oversee cash flow planning and optimize liquidity management
    • Manage foreign exchange exposure and mitigate currency risksStreamline financial processes and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency
    • Formalize internal control and accounting policies ahead of financial audits
    • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement
    • Provide relevant insights and financial advice to support critical business decision-making processes
    • Manage the company's budgeting process, including preparing, monitoring, and adjusting budgets to ensure financial stability and alignment with strategic goals
    • Guide and support team members, empowering them to excel in their roles and contribute to the company's overall success
About You:
    • Leadership: inspire and drive success through empowering leadership in a dynamic and collaborative environment

Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
    • Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making.
    • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of leading high-performing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to thrive in a remote, globally distributed work environment and accommodate Eastern Time zone business hours.
