What You'll Do:

The Lead, Production (Weekend Shift) will direct a group of team members to ensure that production processes are followed; production goals are achieved and ensure that all apparel and gear products are efficiently manufactured at a high quality level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

  • Ensure all team members are trained properly and understand work instructions; delegate duties; verify that work instructions are being followed by team members; controlling the pace of production in their assigned area to ensure that production goals are met.
  • Provides leadership to associates for routine needs that arise
  • Identify and maintain necessary equipment, tools, and supplies
  • Function as the front-line contact with production team members; communicates issues to management
  • Perform maintenance in production areas to maintain a neat and organized plant


What We're Looking For :

Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job, will be considered.

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Experience with apparel manufacturing strongly preferred

Other qualifications include:

  • Ability to lead by example and conduct oneself with professionalism
  • The ability to work the following schedule: Friday through Sunday 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM CT. This position requires schedule flexibility, as dictated by business demand and available resources.
  • Attention to detail, follow-through, and good judgment are important factors in the day-to-day operation of this position.
