POSITION SUMMARY:

SaniSure is in search of an experienced product manager with deep expertise in the bioprocessing sector to lead our business through a transformative growth phase. The ideal candidate will possess operational and technical acumen, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative approach to work effectively within a lean team.

This role will involve travel to client locations, and the position will be primarily remote.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Product Management:
    • Contribute to product management activities, including pricing strategies, competitive analysis, and lifecycle management.
    • Develop and communicate the strategic direction of the product family through roadmapping and business case analysis.
    • Continuously gather customer feedback to ensure alignment with market needs.
    • Monitor market dynamics and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges.
    • Oversee product launch management in collaboration with the marketing team to create tailored marketing materials and campaigns.
    • Work with R&D, marketing, and external partners to identify opportunities for scientific and application content development.
  2. Subject Matter Expertise:
    • Act as a primary source of expertise for the Rigid Container, Caps, Tubing, and Component product families.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the bioprocessing field.
    • Provide education and training to the sales team on the intricacies of the bioprocessing market to enhance their effectiveness.
  3. Market Engagement:
    • Identify and target potential clients within the bioprocessing sector relevant to product family responsibilities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including scientists, researchers, and procurement officers.
    • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to understand customer challenges and preferences.
    • Develop customized solutions and value propositions to meet customer needs and optimize sales opportunities.
  4. Sales Strategy Implementation:
    • Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
    • Engage in contract negotiations with clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  5. Product Development Support:
    • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams, including R&D and marketing, to relay customer insights.
    • Collaborate with R&D to translate customer needs into product development initiatives.
    • Assist in formulating product strategy and roadmap for all product lines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in the bioprocessing industry.
  • In-depth Market Knowledge: Extensive understanding of the bioprocessing market, including industry trends and key players.
  • Customer Engagement Expertise: Strong capability to engage with customers at various organizational levels and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and identify business opportunities.
  • Independent and Collaborative: Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • Passion for Innovation: Enthusiasm for technological advancements and continuous improvement in the bioprocessing field.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, chemistry, or business administration is required; a Master's degree or PhD is preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Direct Bioprocessing Experience: Prior experience with single-use technologies in the bioprocessing sector.
  • Product Management Background: Previous experience in product management roles within the healthcare or life sciences sectors.
