RN Business Development Representative

Position Description: This is an opportunity to join Traditions Health as a Registered Nurse Business Development Representative. In this role, the RN Business Development Representative is responsible for cultivating and managing incoming leads generated through digital marketing efforts to transition patient referrals to appropriate admission, and to help expand the Traditions Health Hospice, Home Health, and Palliative Care market share.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business and/or marketing a plus. Nursing degree required. Essential Functions:

Connect with incoming leads generated through digital marketing campaigns and facilitate transition from referral through to admission. Obtain sufficient information through discussion with each lead contact to identify clinical patient needs, current treatments in progress, and other applicable information to help determine appropriateness for home care services Utilize clinical and industry knowledge to review elements of eligibility for each service line to identify potential appropriateness for care; review this information with the lead contact to discuss service line recommendation and differentiation of the clinical service offerings provided Timely follow-up with the lead contacts to facilitate movement of the patient from initial contract through to evaluation by a local care team; forward appropriate prospects for the local care team to complete the intake and admission process. Establish and maintain effective relationships with referral sources (hospitals, physicians’ offices, SNFs, ALFs, and other senior living facilities) to facilitate the transfer of patients admitted to Traditions Health services. Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Educate patients, families, and referral sources on the benefits and applications of Traditions Health services. Build effective relationships with referral sources across all business segments. Cultivate and achieve budgeted number of referrals/admissions from leads generated by digital marketing efforts. Participate in and contribute to business development (sales and marketing) meetings and sales/operations growth initiatives. Create and maintain monthly referral report demonstrating lead activity and admission statuses. Strong organizational skills to manage large volumes of leads. Work effectively with other members of the business development team, as well as clinical operators to effectively nurture leads through to admissions in each Traditions Health operations region. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Experience:

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in nursing and business development and/or sales. Knowledge of and experience with community program contacts, resources for care, and clinical education. Knowledge of home health, hospice, and palliative care service lines to successfully promote Traditions Health services. Demonstrate ambition and drive to achieve business development goals. Excellent follow-up skills with potential referral sources. Ability to change the approach in response to different personalities or circumstances/situations. Excellent active listening, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments. Equal Employment Opportunity:
