Job Summary:

Support the Athletic Department's expansive use of technology, as well as response and support for IT systems at all sporting events. Implement emerging technologies to support the department. Provide Desk-side support. The position also provides input with the technology support strategy as well as procedure development to support the strategy. Other duties may be assigned from time to time from the Manager.

Expected to work some night and weekend hours for athletic events as directed.

Due to communication expectations of the position, the incumbent will be required to maintain a cellular or other electronic communication device. The incumbent's salary includes compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device.

Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School/GED and four years of related-experience.

OR

High School/GED and two years of post-secondary education and two yeats of related experience.

Must possess a valid driver's license for travel between sites.

A+, Net+, Security+, MCSA or equivalents.

Work with a wide variety of computer brands, printers, and software products.

General knowledge of communications and LAN protocols, consistent troubleshooting techniques for wired and wireless technologies.

Extensive knowledge of computer software, and the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide variety of computer related problems both hardware, network, and software related. Both Windows and MAC operating systems are to be supported.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Ten years of experience.

MCSE, CCNA, ITIL, Project +

Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OS, SQL, Office 365
