Head of Sales Position Overview

The Head of Sales will be the spearhead for driving the commercial expansion of our Tissue Allographs. This player/coach role will grow revenue through sales, as well as build and lead a team of sales professionals.

Care Settings

Our products will be sold to inpatient and outpatient facilities, including:

  • Hospital (including the Operating Room)
  • Wound clinics
  • Office/clinic
  • V.A.
  • Ambulatory Surgery Centers
  • Long Term Care
Call points

Include but not limited to:
  • Orthopedic/Trauma
  • Podiatry
  • Vascular Surgeons
  • General Surgeons
  • Plastic Surgeons

  • Diabetes
Scope of role / expected overnight travel

This is a remote, national role that will require overnight travel up to 60%.

Acceptable candidate locations

Candidates can reside anywhere within the U.S., close to a major airport. Preferably Eastern United States.

Compensation & benefits
  • Base salary: 150k, Dependent on experience
  • Variable: 150k, uncapped.
  • Benefits & Equity offered.
Minimum Requirements
  • Extensive medical device sales and sales leadership experience required
  • Experience in the wound care and orthopedic space (skin substitutes, biologics, regenerative medicine, etc.) preferred
    • Must be Surgical OR focused
  • Documented success as a sales leader
  • Experience building a sales team (either W2 and/or 1099/distribution)
  • Ability to travel overnight consistently on a nationwide basis
  • Ability to thrive in a small, nimble and dynamic startup work environment
  • Self starter with strong work ethic, hunter mentality, positive attitude, passionate, enthusiastic
