Job Description

We are seeking a highly ambitious and talented Head of Risk and Compliance to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and manage risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Audits and Certification Programs: Ensure compliance with industry standards by coordinating audits and certification programs, including SOC 2 and ISO.
  • Develop and Implement Technical Policies: Develop and implement technical policies and procedures that conform to industry standards, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
  • Contribute to ISMS Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring it remains effective and efficient.
  • Train Employees on Information Security: Develop and deliver training courses on information security best practices to our employees and managers, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to perform their roles securely.
  • Communicate with External Parties: Communicate with customers, external law firms, and agencies to ensure compliance and manage risks.
  • Facilitate Vendor Due Diligence: Facilitate vendor due diligence to ensure that our vendors meet our security and compliance requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen attentively, apply logic and reason, and follow through on tasks.
  • Easy to Work With: Be easy to work with, with a can-do attitude and a strong ability to collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Relevant Education and Experience: Hold a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field, with in-depth knowledge and experience in information security and risk management.
  • Language Skills: Be fluent in written and spoken German and English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with Audits and Compliance: Have experience conducting SSAE 18 Service and Organization Controls (SOC) and ISO/IEC 27001 audits.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Certification and Training: Hold certification or further training in CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISO, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Frameworks: Have knowledge of frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, and ISO 27XXX.
  • Experience with Security and Compliance Automation: Have experience with security and compliance automation platforms such as Vanta or Drata.
