Role Definition
  • Research, coordinate, plan and comply with regulatory requirements for Caterpillar Insurance Company, insurance affiliates and the Caterpillar enterprise.
Responsibilities
  • Participates in the identification of Compliance risks and Governance issues, and the development of resolutions to address them.
  • Draft and coordinate communications related to compliance issues and regulatory changes.
  • Review, research, and interpret new statutes, regulations, and bulletins from various insurance and other regulatory agencies.
  • Recommend and coordinate implementation of new processes and changes to current procedures.

  • Knowledge of insurance laws, regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to handle regulatory compliance audits.
  • Ability to perform legal research, to understand compliance issues, and to direct resolution of issues.
  • Knowledge and ability to apply insurance underwriting skills to diverse lines of business.
  • A 4-year college or university degree in Risk Management and Insurance or minimum of 4 years exempt experience in an underwriting compliance or similar position responsible for insurance industry decision-making.
